Reports to Parliament

Departmental Results Reports

Departmental Results Reports (DRRs), formerly known as Departmental Performance Reports, are individual department and agency accounts of results achieved against planned performance expectations as set out in respective Departmental Plans (formerly Reports on Plans and Priorities). DRRs cover the most recently completed fiscal year and are tabled in Parliament in the fall by the President of the Treasury Board on behalf of the ministers who preside over the appropriation-dependent departments and agencies identified in Schedules I, I.1 and II of the Financial Administration Act.

Departmental Plans

Departmental Plans (DPs), formerly known as Reports on Plans and Priorities, are individual expenditure plans for each department and agency (excluding Crown corporations). These reports provide increased levels of detail over a three-year period on an organization's main priorities by strategic outcomes, program activities and planned/expected results, including links to related resource requirements. The DPs also provide details on human resource requirements, major capital projects, grants and contributions, and net program costs. They are tabled in Parliament by the President of the Treasury Board on behalf of the ministers who preside over the appropriation-dependent departments and agencies identified in Schedules I, I.1 and II of the Financial Administration Act.

These reports are intended to describe how the Canadian Space Agency administered its responsibilities during the period covered by the reports in relation to the Acts.
